    Louvier BREAKS School Record

    Morgan Louvier broke Thornton’s Pole Vault record of 11’ at the Orangefield Meet on February 23, 2023 with 11’3” then broke her own personal record at the Nederland Meet on March 10, 2023 with 11’6”.  Louvier was honored at the Bridge City Council meeting with a Certificate of Achievement given by Mayor David Rutledge.

    Harrison Gauthier broke a 48 year old pole vault record at the Orangefield Relays held on February 24, 2022..  Bridge City High School's Raymond (Bubba) Ridley held the previous pole vault record of 14'6" since 1974.  Gauthier, a senior at Bridge City High School, now holds the new school record of 15'.
